Databricks
Replacing a mixture of AWS microservices, we re-architected the intelligence solution towards Databricks. In doing so, we achieved financial savings by removing the requirement for specialist AWS engineers and increase capability. Our project change methodology includes upskilling team members and establishing good practices for data democratisation and data product delivery.
AI - Closed Loop LLM on-prem H100
Our data scientists delivered an LLM project that was used to digest regulatory documentation. We applied for, sourced, and commissioned a H100 server from Nvidia. Deployed an LLM on a closed loop H100 using Llama3 70B, Hugging Face, Langchain, RAG, and FAISS vector store. The agent digested complex regulatory and industry documentation and provided insight to our regulatory and operations teams.
Pricing & Billing Engine
For an energy utility company, we created a half-hourly pricing model and associated billing module to support innovative products. Modular components included commodity Half Hourly Forward Price Curve, fixed industry charges, variable industry charges, and commission models. We applied Meta Prophet and Meta Neural Prophet for temperature and profile co-efficient forecasting.
The pricing engine was used to provide forecasts for tariff creation allowing analysts to refine tighter margins through more accurate estimations. And it was used on retrospective data to generate accurate bills on detailed half hourly breakdown to allow precise margin creation analysis.
Sanction Screening
We have extensive experience in running sanction identification exercises against HMT, EU, and OFAC sanction lists. Our experience has provided intimate knowledge in AML/KYC processes, transaction monitoring, and adherence to JMLSG guidance.
Technology Risk
We are providing Technology Risk Advisory for a large FS institution in establishing 1LoD Controls Assurance teams, and 2LoD advisory on change management in a regulated environment.
We have experience in designing and implementing Internal Audit methodology, 2LoD risk management policies, and assisting in technical reviews and certification processes.
Data Warehouse
We designed and implemented critical intelligence infrastructure which provided operational reports and information for executive management, operations, and regulatory compliance team.
Developed three operational warehouses using DataVault 2 methodology and architected pipelines ingesting D-flows, MDD, OSINT, commercial licenced datasets, and downstream systems.
Our warehouses reduced regulatory reporting time and analytics resource requirements from days to hours. Our approach increased end-user trust in the data, and allowed effective data democratisation to the wider group.
